KickBoxing
In kickboxing, kids learn basic self-defense techniques in a controlled environment. The intention isn’t to use these techniques unless absolutely necessary. But having these skills leads to further physical and mental benefits.
Gymnastics
A large amount of time is spent on improving flexibility in gymnastics training. For competitive gymnasts this means improving leaps and jumps. For recreational and adult gymnasts this is about improving the flexibility of muscle groups in order to prevent injury. The more flexible a person’s muscles are, the less likely they are to strain or tear a muscle completing everyday tasks.
Kung fu
kung fu/kungfu refers to the Chinese martial arts also called wushu and quanfa.
Swimming
Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water.
Aqua Aerobics
Aqua aerobics (also called water aerobics and aquafit) is a form of exercise.
Zumba
Zumba is a fitness program that involves cardio and Latin-inspired dance.
